My own take on architectural photography is an odd one, tending toward the interpretive and abstract rather than documentary.

Nature

Landscapes, wildlife and flora in the wild. I particularly like bird photos that capture the motion of birds in flight, rather than freezing every feather tack sharp.

Auto Parts

Photographs of parts of cars and motorcycles. Never the whole vehicle. These photos are about shape and geometry rather than... cars and motorcycles.

Misc

When you get bored and stuck in a rut, breaking out and photographing things you don't normally photograph is a way to free up thinking.
