Rosati Nothnagle Polarcats Series
Series Results, 1996/97
The Polarcats series uses the Rodney Shaw Scoring System to determine the
winners. A brief explanation is in order. Under the system of the Hideous Dr. Shaw:
- Your finishing place in each race is the number of points you score.
- You take your best four finishes from the series of six races.
- Lowest score wins.
If you finish sixth in four races and finish 10th in the other two, you ignore
the two 10s and get a series score of 24.
The following table lists the finishes
of the runners who won their age groups in the series.
