The joke on the Rochester Running Page Photo Gallery page, is that it's not quite as prestigious as Sports Illustrated as a place to see your picture. Well in the summer of 2000, a few local runners moved a notch up the prestige scale when they made it into Runner's World magazine.

The "On the Road" column appears in Runner's World each month featuring a particular city, telling visitors and newcomers the best things about the local running scene. The September 2000 issue showcased Rochester, NY and featured photography by Rochester Running Page webmaster Mark Roberts.
