Pentax FA 24-90 f/3.5-4.5

    I hemmed and hawed about buying this lens for months - I just wasn't sure I wanted another "consumer grade" zoom. In the end I couldn't resist because it's just so damned useful. As I found out, it's also a ton of fun to use! Construction isn't up to the standards of pro-grade lenses but the optics are, fortunately, excellent. It isn't particularly fast, but it's a lot better than the typical f/4.0-5.6 that you generally get with very-wide-to-short-telephoto zooms. All in all, I'm, very glad I bought it.
