Pentax FA*24mm f/2.0

Pentax FA*24mm f/2.0

I love shooting landscapes with wide angle lenses and even though this usually means stopping the lens down to f/8 or smaller, I find fast lenses like this essential. This is partly because the wide maximum aperture makes focusing easy all the time, but also because the brighter viewfinder image makes it possible to shoot in pre-dawn hours when it's too dark to wrok with slower glass. Many of my shots from the Dolly Sods Wilderness were taken with this lens because it simply wasn't possible to frame a shot accurately with my f/2.8 lenses.
