Monet Does Chenonceau
My version of impressionism came about almost by accident: While on a bicycle tour of the Loire valley,
I was frustrated by poor conditions for photography much of the time. The weather was dreary, with a dull overcast
thwarting any attempt at the standard "beautiful blue skies" tourist-style photos. So I decided to try something
a bit different and minimize the amount of sky in the photo by shooting the chateau's reflection in the river instead of the
chateau itself.
I got several variations on this theme that I liked but this is my favorite, partly because of the figures
of the two people crossing the bridge into the chateau.
