Mountain Myrtle and MacRae Peak

All the flowers were blooming later than usual this year and there were few rhododendrons to bee seen except very low on the mountain. The Sand Myrtle (or Mountain Myrtle, amongst other names) was in full force. This was taken just before the Saturday morning hike – I had some extra time and decided to get in a quick photo session before meeting the group for the trek up to Attic Window. 12-24mm zoom at 12mm.
